I am Wigglee. This is my story. I dwell in the dark most of the time as that is where I am most safe. The time I see light is where I am near the surface to seek out food and green to munch. I also check that I do not get spotted by any of my predators and end up in their tummies. Also I am careful not get caught by the giants who are not aware of our presence and stomp on us.
On a special occasion, I witnessed a strange happening. I was seeking through the deep and once day found myself in a very cool room. On occasions, I saw giants coming into the room and they laid a big white boulder on a certain rock platform. And then they rolled a giant slab of rock to close up the room. Oh! How I enjoyed the coolness of the environment.
Besides enjoying the coolness, a scent began to develop in the room. It was the smell of decay. I have come across on many occasions the dead carcasses of animals. And so I am quite familiar with this kind of scent. It was coming from the big white boulder. The scent became even more intense as long as I remember. Then a strange thing happened.
The slab of rock was rolled off. I hid away in case those giants come in again and stomp on me. The light from outside shone into the room. I could feel the warmth coming in and the scent dispersing out to the open. I saw many shadows of giants outside the room and there seems to be a commotion out there.
I moved slowly to the side of the room so that I do not get rolled over and at the same time, try to catch the sight of what is going on outside. There was numerous giants and mostly were in black outfits. But for one, the giant was in white. He looked very saddened in his countenance, a giant who seems familiar with sorrow. They were even water crystals flowing out of the eyes.
The white giant stood in the front of the opening of the room and said something, with his hands lifted up, as if commanding something or someone from the room within. Then the big white boulder moved and the arms were stretched and there was this giant who seems to have been awakened by the call of the white giant.
There the giant awakened. The scent of deadness was gone. The expressions of the surrounding other giants have brightened up suddenly. It felt as if a miracle has occurred and they were amazed. Two woman giants were especially delighted by the awakened giant and held him in their arms. It seems like their sorrow and sadness have turned into joy and delight as they walked back to their city with the white giant.
As for me, I decided to get back into the darkness and seek out other places so as not to get caught by such mysterious happenings and also avoid being in the light too long. You know how easily we can become food in the light. As I moved deeper, I wondered what the white giant said that awakened the boulder giant. Who was this white giant?

The Story of Scarlet and Cathlyn
The Story of Scarlet and Cathlyn
This is our story. I am Scarlet. I have my part of my story. In my search for food for my survival as well as for the survival of my family who awaits my return, I ran into Cathlyn who also was looking for food.
But thanks to the Great Provider, I did not end up as her food but we both found lots of bits and pieces enough for a time. "Dear Cathlyn, please do not eat me up as I have a family to feed!" panted Scarlet as she scurries here and there in a zig-zag manner so as to confuse Cathlyn from catching hold of her.
This is my story too. I am Cathlyn. "Dear Scarlet, I have to catch you as I have a tummy to feed!" screamed Cathlyn as she kept up her speed and ready her claws for the final catch. Then a great scent caught the attention of Cathlyn and she came to a halt to ascertain where this strong aroma of food was coming from.
Scarlet also hid herself in a bush as she caught up with her breath and at the same time looked intently why Cathlyn stopped chasing after her. She too received a strong fragrance drawing her curiosity out to go find out where this scent originated itself from.
Both Scarlet and Cathlyn moved secretly through the thick bush so that their presence would not be found out. They were careful not to make even a hint of sound. As they peeped out of the small enclosure of the bushes, they were amazed.
Small pockets of people were scattered in the green. They were like feasting over baskets full of bread and fish. Several men were distributing the food around and it looked like there were enough to go around. How did all this food come about?
When the men completed the distribution, all of them walked towards this particular man who was dressed in white and looked like a special person. And before him laid some more baskets of food which seem to be enough for each of the men who helped. When they have finished their meal, they moved along. And the crowds moved as well.
In the silence of the field was some bits and pieces of the bread and fish which may have dropped off from the baskets as the people and even the children ate their meals. Both Scarlet and Cathlyn leaped for joy as they gathered these bits and pieces for their family and were satisfied.
But one question lingered in their minds as each of them went back to their families. "How did all this food come about?" And this too become a great story and great mystery to tell to their little ones.

The Story of Pinklet and Salus
This is my story. I am Pinklet. Our master was gathered us to move back from our walk on the grass fields to our home where we shall all take our rest and feast on the food poured out for us. All of a sudden, a large group of us went wild and rushed in a certain direction. I was altogether confused and frantic. "What was happening to them?" I thought as I gave chase.
As my feets did my best, I could not run as fast and wonder at the same time where they were heading. Even my master gave chase as he too was very puzzled by the strange behavior of the herd. Suddenly his pace grew faster and ran ahead of me. It looks like something terrible was going to occur.
When I finally caught up with my master, all I saw was him standing afar off standing at the edge of the cliff. And I was curious, "Where had the herd gone to?" When I stood next to my master, to my horror I saw that they have off ran off the cliff and drown in the stream below. What a terrible accident!
"Dear Salus" I asked her. "What do you think happened to the large herd, do you know?" As she landed on my nose, Salus said, "I saw what happened, Pinklet." "Dear Salus, please tell me more."
"The white giant talked to the shaking giant and commanded something to go to this big herd nearby. There was a gush of wind and I was almost swept away too. Then I saw that big herd rushed down the cliff."
It seems like reality has caught up with our master. I saw master ran towards the white giant and his face seems awfully mad. His action was like chasing the white giant away. The white giant spoke to that shaking giant who now was no more shaking but paying total attentiveness to the words of the white giant.
Pinklet was wondering what words were spoken to both the something and also the shaking giant. Now the master came to Pinklet and the little babies. In his soberness, he knelt now. He prayed. He looked to heaven as he faced the almost empty barnyard that once held the herd.

The Story of Cotton
This is my story. I am Cotton. I am prone to wander as I grace the green fields. Sometimes attracted by greener pastures, I would go for them and wander off to unknown and unbeaten paths. Tracking down dangerous pathways and occasional falls were the usual thing. And on certain falls I would also receive some scars which stay there for a long time.
Even in a big crowd of cottons, we would go off on our own ways, unaware that sometimes the green fields would envelope them out of sight. Talk about sight, we are usually kept within sight of our Master. Even though there are so many of us, he watches over us. He would talk to us as he tends to us. He would lower himself and caress us very kindly as he speaks to us.
One day I was up to my wandering addiction and was down to a path I was totally left on my own. I tried to find my way back but could not, as the day has subtly turned into gloomy night. I called out hoping that someone or my Master may hear me. After I was tired out by the calling and the walking, I stayed where I was.
I stilled myself to a halt and quieted myself in the darkness that surrounds me now. I rested as I laid my body on the ground. At this time I realize something. I could hear little sounds here and there. I could also hear my breathing. I got to know myself more now and realize I should have stayed with the cottons.
After a while in the darkness where I thought it felt like a long time, I heard a familiar sound. I was sure it was not a sound of the enemy as that voice had a frequency which rings in my mind. That voice became louder and warmed every part of me. I called out and now hear that voice coming closer and closer.
It was my Master. He talked to me like he usually do and caressed me and checking I was injured in some way. He carried me over his shoulder and walked my way out of the darkness. The next moment the darkness has slowly turned into dawn and light eventually shone around us.
My Master carried me all the way back and brought some green for my feeding. This green has never tasted so good. My Master celebrated my homecoming with his family and friends while I busied myself in the comfort and care of my Master's fold.

The Story of Eyawn
This is my story. My name is Eyawn. I am very close to things. Most of the time, I am used for carrying things around from one place to another. Occasionally I have the little ones being placed on me to let them have some fun trying out the ride. My owner would place a wooden piece with cloth on me so that the items can be put onto the wooden piece to hold the items for moving.
This has been my life for a long time. Occasionally I also see another of my kind, also doing the same occupation as me. We would chat and how heavy are the loads and what are the experiences we have had in our journeys. Usually we would also bring up ancient stories of our fathers like the time where one of our fathers was given the privilege and power to talk back to the owner in their language, warning the owner of a sword-drawn angel blocking their way.
That was so awesome. Sometimes the load can be so excessively heavy that we hope we can speak up and tell our owners to lighten up. Talk about lighten up, I got an opportunity to lighten up - an opportunity to be giving a ride to a very special person where I too was privileged in the process.
Here is my story.
A man came by to speak to untie me. Someone asked him what he was doing. This man replied, "The Lord needs it." So I was released and followed this man by the rope. A while later, we reached a particular house and there came out a man who was gentle and full of grace. He took his seat on me as if he was taking up position on his throne.
As we moved, we journeyed to a pathway that was leading through the outskirt of the town. We were moving towards the city. As we moved along, behind us were a trail of what looked like his followers. This man was really exceptional. I have seen trails of soldiers following behind armored-manned chariots led by war horses. They were awesome.
But these were ordinary people, some who smelled like fish while others the smell of the marketplace.
As we entered the city, there were already crowds of people in the front. It looks like they were all excited to welcome this man. They also had palm leaves laid on the ground to path the way for our entry. This man is treated like a king and I his steed. Wow, what an honour! The people also sang as they welcomed us. We indeed were treated with a king's welcome.
I wondered who this man was as he dismounted and entered this house. As I was led back to my owner, I remembered stories from my mother who also had the privilege to give ride to a special person. That special person then was with child and together with his husband was looking for a place to give birth.
Surely that day was an eventful and memorable day for me.

The Story of Liz
This is my story. I occupied this place most of the time and occasionally I will see some of my friends come by, but they soon go off to other places where food is much more than this place. What is this place? Here is an incident that happened and shook the tail out of my wits.
I see special activities held in this place and there are not many giants moving in and out of this area where I usually stay. I would normally only see one particular giant, clothed in strange ornaments and entering through a curtain drawn between the inside and the outside. The outside is where the other giants are while the inside there were some special objects positioned in the center.
This strangely clothed giant would move carefully into this inside area and carefully performs some activities. Sometimes there were even some scent coming out from the area that it smells terrible that I have got to take a breather outside.
The giants outside are usually quite silent, as if awaiting something to happen from the inside. This is a strange place but I do find occasional food for my hunting and for my survival, until one day - the day something out of the ordinary occurred.
While I was resting in one of the hidden crevices, suddenly there was a big movement. It was as if the entire place was going to collapse. The dust was shaken out of their places and filled the place with a gigantic puff. I waited and see if there would be any kind of danger that was coming my way. But there was none.
When the dust has settled, I saw that the curtain which blocked between the inside and the outside was torn from top to bottom. There was no giants when this happened and several giants came by and saw what happened too. Their faces looked curious as to why this happened. Why tore the curtain into halves?
I was curious too as now the giants could look into the inside of this place and no more shall they need that strangely-clothed giant to enter into this place. This seems to signify something. Some of the giants came to clear up the place, but still kept a distance from the inside for fear that something may happen to them.
As for me, I gathered my courage to stay in this place and find out what is going to happen next and hopefully food will still be available for me.

The Story of Blueis and Ravvis
"How did he know?" said Blueis. Blueis and all his friends were in his usual routine and enjoying the deep and finding the little ones to feast on. Altogether they are a great big force in the deep sweeping here and there showing off to the rest what a mighty team they were.
So who is this 'he' Blueis was referring to? Blueis and many others like him stay away from small and big wooden rafts alike and also stay away from curious lines and network of lines in the deep. Once you get entangled in them, you are doomed.
Blueis was referring to the White Giant. That once he and his friends were deeply enjoying the good feast away from the network of lines, the White Giant shouted to the giants on the raft to throw the network on the other side of the raft. They were all caught by surprise and trying best to jump off. Two rafts were needed to contain this big catch.
One of the giants were so moved by the catch that he asked of the White Giant to leave him because he was a sinful person. The White Giant invited this giant to follow him to fish for men. We were all so relieved to hear that, especially those still in the deep. But this question still remains "How did he know?"
"How did he know?" said Ravvis. Ravvis enjoyed the crumps and scraps left behind by the giants. On this occasion Ravvis witnessed this great catch, this big catch which was out of the ordinary. His eyes were wide open by big feast that awaits him.
On many occasions these giants after their trips out to the open blue they would return and sit at the docks to separate the catch. Some of them would be thrown back into the deep and some would drop into certain crevices and in-between planks. These are the ones for Ravvis and also other whiters.
Sitting on the wood of the green above, Ravvis was curious why the White Giant called out to the giants to cast their lines to the other side of the raft. The giants looked exhausted but they listened to him nevertheless. That obedience brought in the largest catch never seen before and one that Ravvis would surely enjoyed as well later.
But this question still remains "How did he know?"

The Story of Adora
This is my story. I am Adora. I will not tell you how I got caught, but I will tell you how I got my freedom. It is indeed not a nice thing to be placed into these stick liked fences that surrounds me all around, and only fed with some seeds that are nothing compared to the ones I find in the field of the Great Provider. I was also put on display for the many giants that walked past me. Some of them would hold me and examined me. In fact there were others like me who were in similar state as me.
I have seen a couple of them being taken away by the giants. Right in this place I was in, there were other activities going on. There were giants chirping with one another as if doing some kind of things exchanging. From where I was, I was also able to notice some giants who within the enclosure, sitting still and watching another giant chirping away in the front. The sound seems to catch their attention. The sound seems to keep them still like a rock.
Out of a sudden, there were numerous sounds of items falling and giants yelling. There was this white giant who was moving the other giants out of the noisy place. The white giant also lifted the places that hold these fences we were in. I saw some of my comrades flying off after their fences were broken. The next moment I felt my estate was also shaken and I could see the surrounding overturning.
"Crash!" I quickly regained my balance and found that some of the fences were loosened from their joints. I squeezed out between the now bigger spaces and flapped vigorously with my feet moving and dashing here and there, avoiding the crumbling things around me. I swam myself out seeing the chaos behind and below me. I landed myself on the ledge of the house above and watched the many giants facing the white giant.
The white giant was firm and said something that stilled the other giants. It was as if the thing the white giant did has silenced the activities and busyness of the other giants lending back the peace and quiet the enclosure needed from the beginning. The other giants were picking up their items and moving out of the place.
The white giant not only restored the place, but also gave release to the giants and freedom also to me and many of my kind.

The Story of Feather
I am Feather. I have a story to tell. I take flight a couple of times in the day to look for food and also to enjoy the flight itself, to feel the breeze and flow of life around me. When the heat is up and my body tires, I rest myself on the greens below. I will find others like me and we talked about our adventures and encounters. On one of those encounters, in fact a close encounter, I found myself meeting a giant on the same green as mine.
Resting my feet and body on one of the arms of the green, I watched the surroundings. I saw many two feet giants below and was wondering what they were busy about. I was amazed by the same direction all of them were facing and there was only one of them who was moving its mouth. It seems that this chirping giant has caught the attention of all the other giants, like the wiggling thing on the ground which catches my attention when I looking for food.
Then suddenly I felt the green shook. I saw this giant climbing itself up this green where I was. I tried to stand behind the greens so as not to get seen by other little giants who sometime ago had flew many grey boulders at me. That was a close encounter too. It was a little giant though and I wondered why it came up on this green. It looked very determined to balance itself on one of the arms of the green.
It being on the green eventually caught the gaze of everybody on the ground, including the chirping giant. The chirping giant then came over and chirped to the little giant with a smile on the smile. Eventually the little giant smiled as well.
The little giant then shook the green and joined the chirping giant down below. Then both of them moved away while the others followed behind.
It seems that the chirping giant had a way with the other giants. Its chirping seems to move them. I am looking forward to meeting this chirping giant and see what a difference it makes. Please come tell me when you see it. I will be taking my flight and looking out too.

The Story of Jade
The Story of Jade
I am Jade. Here is my story. I live in a land of giants. Strange giants. The colony of us needs to be carefully aware of their presence in addition to the giants of nature like water and soil and wind. I also have learned from my elders the skill of being still. This has saved me and many in my colony.
I found myself in one of my journeys where I discovered that giants have different level of giants which is different what I am. In my routine exploration for food, I climbed through land, water and green. On this warm day, I walked among unsuspecting giants, but staying alert so that I do not get stepped over.
Suddenly there was a big commotion of a group of giants, showing up in the far side. I hid myself behind a boulder and at the same time I stood still so that I do not get unnecessary attention. Two of the giants looking very agitated, pushed another giant on the ground. A puff of sand dust exploded around me.
After the dust settled, I could see a shadow of another giant hovering over me and standing near the grounded giant. Surrounding them were the agitated giants, some were making loud sounds and some were showing agitated faces. It looks like these giants had something to resolve between the standing ones and the grounded one.
Though surrounded, I could see that shadow giant lowering itself to the level of the giant on the ground. He began to move his mini tentacles on the ground and making strange grooves on the sand. The standing giants spoke and all of them began to pick up the boulders around them. It was as if they were going to throw these boulders at the two giants in the center. I could sense it with my head.
The next moment, I noticed the shadow giant making a stand, made some sounds as though telling the other giants something. Then he lowered himself once more. I could sense those sounds made a deep impression on the other giants. I have seen giants with shining things destroying our green, but this shadow giant did not use any and seems to have caused something to move inside these giants.
The next thing that happened alarmed me as I saw boulders falling. One by one of the giants have released their boulders and moved away and was out of sight. I could only see many many boulders on the ground now and only the shadow giant with the grounded giant.
The shadow giant once more made some sounds to the grounded giant and I could sense an atmosphere of relief and release. They eventually moved as well. As for me, it was also a relief as now I can move around freely once again, just that I have to move around those new monument of boulders.

The Story of Fish
One Great Story: The Story of Fish
Her name is Fish. She swims and likes to wonder the great space. She also likes to pick up things with her mouth and check out how they taste like. There was one of those occasions, that one thing she picked up which she thought it would be the last for her.
It was meal time and they were all scrambling to their usual spot to look for those bits and pieces to fill their grumbling tummies. There she was again, wondering off from the school to explore special things.
Fish remembered swimming into a round opening once and hit her face at the other end. She could see the surroundings but she could not get out. She dashed frantically here and there, and realized she was stuck. Though she had the feeling that was crippling her, she gave her final attempt to swim the way she came from.
Blish! "I am free!" Fish exclaimed with great relief. That frantic swim out of the round opening found herself in a new location. In a blink, she saw something floating down from a short distance away. It looks like it was dancing. Fish quickly swam towards it and tried to taste it. The dancing motion of the thing slipped into Fish's anxious mouth and Fish looked around her wondering where that thing went.
Giving up her search, Fish swam back and rejoined her other friends.
"Oh! It is meal time again!" yelled Fish and now she was off to her exploration adventures. As she swam along, she noticed a wriggling thing coming down and it looks tasty. Fish swam swiftly to it and started to nibble on it. The next bite, she felt a tug and she felt herself in a new environment.
Flipping and flapping as Fish laid on the ground, gasping for her life and wondering what happened. She also saw many giants around her which looked different from those she saw in her adventures.
One of the giants picked her up and held her by the mouth. The giant took out that thing which Fish swallowed the other day and gave it to another giant, saying, "Here is a four-drachma coin, the tax for my Lord and me." As the crowd of giants dispersed, Fish thought to herself, "Oh! What is going to happen to me now?"
This giant still holding on to her, walked to the edge of the lake and talked to himself, "The Lord uses even fish for his purposes." The giant released Fish back into the lake and Fish swam as fast as she could, away from the surface.
Regaining her posture at a safe distance, Fish pondered, "Who is the giant referring to as 'the Lord'?"
Feeling the sense of freedom once more, Fish continued in her exploration for food and things, looking forward to how this 'Lord' shall use her in the next opportunity.

The Story of Chester
This story is about Chester. When he was still a little creature, he would take breaks wherever he goes. After a little nibble here and a bit of snack there, he would look for obscure places to rest his tummy and take a short but possible long nap. But one of those naps became a story to tell his friends, neighbors and fellow wanderers.
After munching off some crumbs out of left overs of radically fresh bread and some fishy meat, Chester carefully yet slowly scurried off to a wooden area, without letting any of the giants discover him and avoid receiving meteor-like stone throws at him. Finding a dark spot, he did what he delighted most, resting on his side and enjoying the coolness of the floor board.
Was it only a minute ago that Chester rested or did he dose off for a full hour, when he felt the floor shaking. It felt like it was being hovered up and glided off. He quickly awakened himself and peeped out from where he was, but did his best to remain hidden within the embrace of the darkness.
"Let us take the boat and travel to the next town", said one of the giants. This particular giant looked like a gentle giant as compared to the other giants in the 'boat' they called. In fact, he has a different smell - the smell of wood and of the garden. The other giants smelled of the meat Chester recalled enjoying earlier.
As the boat sailed along, Chester could see the day lights moving into where he was and he has to stay hidden as much as he could and quickly looked out for a better secure location in the boat. He scurried into the place where the nets were kept. As Chester settled himself there, he could see again the gentle giant lying down on his side, his head facing the side of the boat as if he too was trying to keep his eyes away from the day lights. He looked like he was worn out too as he laid very still. Chester wondered to himself that these giants were no different from him actually. They too grow tired and sleepy like him.
The next moment, Chester sniffed the air and sensed that a storm was nearing. He saw the surrounding getting darker and darker and he began to feel the boat rocking here and there. And then he felt the water sweeping through his feet across the floor board. As he struggled to keep his balance, he began to hear shouts and screams of the giants. Chester hurried to the edge, keeping his grip on the side and watched what was going on.
"Hurry! Water out!", said the brown faced giant and together with the rest of the giants were scurrying to scoop the water out to the sea with their wooden containers. Chester could see the strong anxious faces of those giants, exerting every ounce of energy to salvage their boat from the swarming waters. The waters were sweeping in, one after another and a couple of times the giants lost their balance, slipped and fell to the floor. But the next second they were up on their feet again to do their part to save their sinking transportation.
Chester was already wet by now and he noticed that the gentle giant who laid there at the side was still at that position in the midst of the commotion around him. Then one of the drenched giant came and shaked the shoulder of the gentle giant, "Teacher, don't you care if we drown?" He arose from his slumber like a baby awakened by the rocking cradle. He stood up and said, "Quiet! Be still!"
At an instance, the boat stilled. The wind and the waves became quiet. The sounds of the screaming and shouting giants turned into silence. It was as if the wind and the waves have drowned their voices away. Then the gentle giant said, "Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” Then the giants talked amongst themselves like they just got their voices back, saying, "Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!"
When the boat reached the other side, the giants arose and went their way, oblivious of the little Chester still pondering what has happened a while ago. When Chester recovered himself, he thought that during the storm, he too could have sunk with the boat, even though he was a good swimmer. Amidst that wild storm, even a great swimmer like Chester could not withstand.
As Chester scurried out of the boat, he stood up, drying himself in the daylight and at the same time, sniffing. He tried to see if he could recapture that smell - the smell of wood and of the garden. Then Chester would recognize that the gentle giant is nearby.
